Libertarians Care about the Issues that Affect Families and Communities
Libertarians want to contribute to a free, peaceful and prosperous North Carolina where every individual has the opportunity to pursue their unique vision of a rewarding and enriching life. Libertarians care about education. We care about the environment. We care about healthcare. We care about equality and the rights of marginalized people. We care about your ability to make decisions about your money and your labor.
And when we come together to address important issues, we should do so in a way that not only shows we care but also shows that we respect the dignity of every individual who is directly and indirectly affected by those decisions.
Libertarians Have Real Solutions to North Carolina’s Critical Issues
Rules, regulations and subsidies made by distant politicians and bureaucrats as a “one-size-fits-all” solution never account for unique individual needs and circumstances. Instead, these policies create a situation where people are forced into opposing interest groups constantly lobbying government for special treatment. We don’t think that there should be rules which reward some people at the expense of others.
Libertarians don’t believe that anyone has the right to use force to achieve political ends. Our solutions are different because they support choice and opportunity equally. They are real because they foster the kind of voluntary, peaceful society that creates long term prosperity and happiness for everyone.
In short, when communities need to come together to address critical issues, Libertarians believe in people, not politics.
